Who is A Guardian Angel Foundation?
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of individuals who are passionate about animals and their well-being. A Guardian Angel Foundation awards grants to those helping to make a more humane world. We are a small, all volunteer, grass roots organization. We do not solicit applicants. We utilize an internal nomination process to help us assess which organizations may benefit most from additional funding. The Board of Directors is highly aware and active in all animal welfare and rescue aspects across the country. In many case we are boots on the ground in almost every state throughout each year. Small grants are provided to organizations that share our goals. We aspire to recognize those that are doing something unique, compelling or inspiring to achieve our goal of making this a more humane world for all animal species.
We value a world where animals are treated respectfully and thrive in harmony with humans. We are committed to improving the quality of life for animals, one initiative at a time. In all that we do, we work collaboratively with like-minded advocates and organizations. We make it possible for individuals and groups to apply their talents and resources toward our mutual goal of a better world.
A Guardian Angel Foundation does not limit its outreach impact by specific cause or species. Rather, we actively respond to all forms of suffering and neglect, including those which involve companion animals, wildlife, livestock, marine animals, and all other species.
We support improving lives for shelter animals, disaster response, large and small scale crisis situations, emergency planning preparedness as well as many other causes. We promote education on all levels of responsible animal stewardship including spay/neuter pet initiatives, teaching empathy to children, understanding animal agriculture, the exploitation of animals for entertainment and the breeding industry.
We envision a more humane world where all animals are treated with respect and kindness.
